@PoorlyWindow549 Ok, I think I understand now. None of this is relevant to the current beta so I'm not sure why the discussion is here, but anyway....

I understand your problem and the risk of anyone being able to update your variable if you give your webhook out as a public address. However, I am also a little concerned that the way you are using the webhook is beyond the scope of my intention of providing it. The intention was to allow a user to communicate to their personal devices from other devices or websites. In general this would mean that you would keep the webhook address entirely private (or at least within trusted family/friends).

I'm interested to know more details of your use case and how it will be called and the likely volume of invocations you would expect to see etc. As the MacroDroid userbase has grown considerably (probably 10x) since I built this feature and backend infrastructure, I'm becoming more aware that I may need to control who can access this and introduce rate limiting etc. Currently my server is coping but it would probably only take a few more users who start hammering it massively before I run into issues that effect everyone.

Is there a way to "webhook" on a custom server like a raspberry pie. I am using currently 2 webhooks due communication between android auto and my mobile phone. in my brain i have more ideas for getting addvanced "lazyness", so in the future i don't want to rely on the macrodroid-server, if trolls are going to stress the server like a cheap virus. just some brainstorming. (also not related to this updated, maybe mod is creating a new thread).

I have a problem with UI interaction. The necklace function is not working. All authorized, accessibility is also active
Edit:
Please disregard. The problem was in the accessibility that even activated was not working. I disabled and reactivated everyone and it returned to work

Hi. When you create a set variable actions with value {setting_global=adb_enabled} , triggering this action will make Macrodroid not responding. My device is Xiaomi Poco F5.

I don't see such problem with string and integer variables. Can you share a screen recording of this?

Sometimes my macro get that visual indicator that something is wrong with my action. It appears either with action modify custom widget or with if clause trigger fired custom widget.
Macro works fine and after clicking discard changes when exiting macro or clicking configure action and going back error disappears just to come back again later.
It probably was like that already earlier but I figured I will post it here with s reenshot.
Not too important obviously
(It appears in macro list as well, not only inside macro)

I'm having the same issue.

Opening the macro & an incorrect warning is displayed.

Clicking to exit the macro and the popup option to save changes is displayed...but I haven't changed anything!

Closing and re-opening the (unsaved) macro and no warning is displayed.

The macro runs fine.

It seems if i use the app for an extended period of time, responsiveness slows more and more to the point where it force closes (asked to wait or close app). Restart helps until i start using it for 5+ minutes again.

Also having the aforementioned issue of being prompted to save an unmodified macro.

Android 11, pixel 5a 5g

You can witness both occurrences in the video.

Hello developer, I still want to give you feedback about the permissions. I remember seeing the new features of Android 14 before. I have the impression that the location rights in Android 14 have been separated from the related rights of WiFi. Therefore, I wonder if it is possible to turn on the WiFi permission without starting the location permission in mac APP, so as to realize the trigger of normal wifi ssid conversion and reduce the power consumption of the mobile phone. I look forward to your reply.
