I had the same problem, the screen locked however, can drag down and see the notifications, the back, start and recent buttons also worked, I had this problem with custom animation.

Battery too. I didn't test anymore
Clear animation seems to do nothing

Clear animation is definitely broken in some scenarios and I have a fix ready for this. I'm still trying to recreate other problems with the animation action.

A feature I never had the opportunity to use: Macro Run > User Prompt > All Categories

At run or test time it shows "No macros to display". When selecting one of the categories (instead of "All"), it works fine.

I just made another test:
- Chosing a particular category (instead of All)
- Testing the action: the appropriate list of macros is displayed and everything runs ok
- Configuring the action again with "All categories"
- Testing the action: the whole list of macros is displayed and it runs correctly!

When exiting the macro and then entering again, it still works with "All categories"

Strange MD behavior (as if it were a matter of "initialization") but I would say: everything is ok now...

This is not related to this release and is of low priority, but I am reporting it.
Volume Button Long press icon is the same as Webhook.

- Configuring the action again with "All categories"
- Testing the action: the whole list of macros is displayed and it runs correctly!

When exiting the macro and then entering again, it still works with "All categories"

I just done a couple of quick tests and for me it worked fine when I selected all categories from the start (so I wasn't able to recreate what you described). If you have a reliably way to recreate the problem you saw please contact me directly at support@macrodroid.com and I will try to fix.

I'm using a VIVO iQOO Pro 5G, Android 11.
In the previous beta version (5.42.0) the animation was displayed normally
